This one-of-a-kind bag is crafted from a vintage Japanese fukuro obi (formal silk sash).

The fabric features a luxurious sheen, delicate embroidery, and the elegant sparkle of gold and silver threads, creating a beautiful shift in appearance depending on the light.

Because only a few pieces can be made from a single obi, each bag carries a high level of rarity and uniqueness.

The material has a firm structure yet feels surprisingly lightweight when carried.

++About the Obi Pattern++

This bag is made from a luxurious silk fukuro obi.

The white base is adorned with shimmering floral motifs and elegant karakusa (arabesque) patterns, giving the piece a refined yet slightly Western impression with its white and silver tones.

A traditional Japanese design in which flowers are abstracted into circular forms.

Often seen in formal obi, this motif represents elegance, dignity, and timeless beauty.

All obi used by Ho-Seki Brand are recycled vintage textiles. While we avoid areas with major stains or damage, some signs of age—such as minor thread pulls or fold lines—may remain.

Large items such as bags or tapestries may be shipped folded for safe and compact packaging. If creases appear, they can be removed by gently ironing with a pressing cloth on medium heat.

Import taxes are not included in the product price or shipping fee. Depending on your country’s customs regulations, VAT, GST, or import duties may be charged upon delivery.
